Joshua is a lawyer with experience in immigration, refugee, human rights, and labour law. Prior to joining the IRLC, Joshua worked as a Member of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada, served in management roles with the Government of Canada, was a lawyer with a community legal clinic in Vancouver, and worked at a large BC labour union to represent the union and its members. Joshua received his Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria and pursued a Master of Arts in International Law and Human Rights at the United Nations-mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica.
